LA BELLAVITA
located in the very heart of Pienza’s historical center, within walking distance of Corso Rossellino and Piazza Pio II.
Our desire is that of giving our guests the chance to genuinely experience, even for a day, the excitement of being part of the history and daily life of this exceptional reality.
Our accommodation facilities are located in a very central area on the second and last floor of a characteristic building in a charming and typical square, ideal location for those who love the serenity and tranquility of a natural setting without giving up the comfort and convenience of living in a central residential area.
Our rooms are all furnished and decorated with the elegance and attention to details typical of the Italian taste; each room is provided with a private bathroom and their windows overlook the characteristic view of Pienza and the magical landscape of the countryside that connects it to Montepulciano.
The kitchen
Following the spirit of conviviality that we’d like to spread and share with our guests, the large common kitchen represents the meeting point for breakfast time every morning.
Here, an Italian-style breakfast will be served every day and will be consumed by our guests who will be all enjoying it sitting around the table where once grandma rolled pasta dough.
The panoramic terrace
Crossing the kitchen and going up the old stairways, which have been erected by the previous owner, an exclusive and marvelous panoramic terrace appears at the eyes of our guests, who will be amazed by the breathtaking view that the terrace offers.
The panoramic terrace is at complete disposal of our guests to either consume breakfast during the warm seasons or enjoy a superb glass of Tuscan wine during a romantic sunset.
Furthermore, the terrace is provided with sun loungers to allow our guests to enjoy the sun during the warm seasons.

Great central location with good facilities. Owner is so friendly and helpful, she went out of her way to meet us at our car to walk us to the door when we arrived. Freshly prepared breakfast daily was great and Pienza itself is just wonderful.
Diane – United Kingdom -New and modern design while keeping the authenticity of the city and culture. Extremely clean. Location is amazing. 2 min away from anything in the city. Parking is available around the property. Restaurants all over. The really fantastic thing is that Elisabetta and her husband make everyone feel home. They prepare breakfast for guests, do different cakes, explain about the city, share their experiences, have conversations etc..one ends up feeling as if they came to Pienza and stayed home. Greatly recommended!
Rami – Emirati Arabi -Elizabetta couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The room was great and in a great location. The breakfasts were terrific with homemade cakes, cheeses, fruits and coffee. Pienza was a perfect choice to use as a home base to explore Tuscany.
Robert - USA -We liked everything about staying at La Bellavita! Elizabeth, the hostess and owner, was lovely in every way. She helped us pick restaurants, make reservations, get a poster, see an artist, find our way around and generally made us feel as if we were staying with loving family. The room and overall space was tastefully renovated old space with all the comforts of new space AND a great location in the heart of Pienza. Our bed and the linens were quite comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was not large but functional and modern. The breakfast nook and rooftop patio provide common space with the ability to take in the AMAZING VIEWS. Elizabeth was also VERY kind in taking care of my nut allergy and not only buying special products for my breakfast but also letting me read the ingredients to confirm. The breakfast had fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, cheeses and meats. Also oranges and a squeezed so we could squeeze our own fresh OJ. Delicious! We loved staying at La Bellavita and hope to be able to return!!

The view from my room and also from the roof balcony was breathtakingly beautiful, The home made cakes and cappuccino were so good and the breakfast is just wonderful! Risa – Japan -Perfect location for beautiful Pienza and within the city walls. New and very clean with amazing veranda deck at top ideal for fantastic breakfast..... and after dark views! New, excellent AC for sleeping( we like it cold) or wonderful breezes with windows open keeping the Tuscan charm. But most amazing is your host while there, Elisabetta. After 7 trips over 8 years to Tuscany, Umbria and Piedmont ( 10-12 days each) this was by far the hardest place to leave ; particularly because of her kindness and friendly service. Grazie!!
Berry – USA -Elizabetta was the best host we stayed with. The bnb is in the heart of beautiful Pienza town which allowed us to enjoy the town with ease. The homemade breakfast and the terrace with view for breakfast was my favourite part in the stay. Check in was smooth and very welcoming, and the room/common area is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. You can tell the place is run with heart and sweat. Elizabetta is incredibly helpful and organised. Room & bed is comfortable, and shower is great! Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!
Hiu – Hong Kong -Elizabeth was so nice, had a great breakfast and was helpful with making reservations and suggestions for us. Location was in the heart of Pienza and the view from the patio was amazing! Definitely would recommend!
Ryan – Canada -Eu e minha esposa estivemos no La Bellavita em janeiro/19, a propriedade é muito bem localizada, no coração de Pienza. O nosso quarto estava impecavelmente limpo, era muito confortável e espaçoso. As instalações são muito bem mantidas, tudo parece novo e bem cuidado. O ponto alto é a recepção da proprietária Elisabeta, sempre disponível a ajudar e toda manhã ela prepara um delicioso café da manhã com bolos caseiros fresquinhos. Se viajar no verão, poderá tomar café no terraço com uma vista linda para a Toscana. Com certeza voltaríamos a nos hospedar no La Bellavita!!
Gabriel – Brasile -Hübsches Zimmer, sehr sauber, sehr schöne Dachterrasse mit tollem Ausblick auf die Altstadt von Pienza. Perfekte Lage mitten in der Altstadt von Pienza. Die Gastgeberin Elisabetta ist eine äusserst liebenswerte, freundliche und hilfsbereite Person. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag frischen, selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur bestens empfehlen.
Kaspar - Svizzera -Dieses tolle Quartier liegt mitten in der nicht so großen Altstadt von Pienza. Selbst zum Abendessen brauchten wir erst 2 Minuten vorher losgehen. Wir wurden herzlich von unserer Vermieterin Elisabetta empfangen und bei Kaffee und einem Stück Kuchen erkundigte sie sich nach unseren geplanten Vorhaben und gab uns noch Tipps. Besonders wertvoll waren die Tipps fürs Abendessen, da sie sich wirklich große Mühe gab, für uns an beiden Tagen in von ihr empfohlenen Restaurants einen Tisch zu buchen. Die Empfehlungen haben sich beide Male als sehr gut erwiesen. Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll zubereitet, es gab Produkte aus der Region und eine Vielzahl leckerer Kuchen, von ihrem Ehemann gebacken. Leider konnten wir die tolle Terrasse zum Frühstück nicht nutzen, da es am Morgen immer noch ein wenig frisch war.
Eva – Germania -Elisabetta die Inhaberin ist eine so wundervolle Person. Von der 1. Minute bis zur letzten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ganz zu schweigen von dem großartigen Blick und dem Frühstück auf der Sonnenterrasse. Einfach top und wir kommen wieder 🙂
